Customer Service Manager

We are seeking a very special person to join our small, dedicated team as our Customer Service Manager. The role involves sales and support of LinxCRM and associated software to the financial services sector across Australia and New Zealand. LinxCRM is used by finance brokers, insurance consultants and financial planners and offers a cost-effective CRM solution including client-care, marketing, work-flow control, document management and commission administration.

The person we are seeking must have exceptional standards of honesty and integrity and be dedicated to building long-term relationships with clients.

You are likely to be of mature age (35/40+) with a strong desire to excel in whatever you do but in a way which brings value to your employer and appreciation from your clients.

This is a long-term position with the potential to advance to General Manager and possibly equity-sharing over time.


What you need

  • A minimum of 5-10 years solution-sales experience
  • Strong marketing and negotiation skills but with an enthusiastic, persuasive and consultative style of selling
  • A passionate approach to customer satisfaction and to exceeding their expectations
  • A current working knowledge of the financial services industry - finance, insurance, property and/or planning
  • Comfortable and competent with computers and software - and a willingness to keep learning in your own time if needed
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ideally (but not essential as training given) demonstrable skills in production of marketing materials including captivating press releases and HTML email newsletter production
  • Mature and responsible, with complete integrity and honesty in your dealings with clients and colleagues
  • Not have a "9-to-5" mentality, being prepared to give 110% effort to get up-to-speed quickly, and a "can do, will do" attitude
  • A team player but a with the ability to work alone, be self-motivated and think strategically
  • A long-term view of your employment, with a desire for potential senior management and/or equity partnership

We prefer someone in SE Qld but will consider applications from elsewhere. Training will be provided in the Brisbane area.


The role

  • Creating and implementing successful email marketing campaigns
  • Seeking out new sales opportunities
  • Prompt and efficient follow-up of new sales enquiries
  • Demonstration of LinxCRM to prospects (generally online)
  • Regular telephone follow-up of sales prospects
  • Client support in the use of LinxCRM, mainly by email and phone
  • Occasional attendance at industry functions on behalf of the Company
  • Liaising with the technical team to resolve any issues
